It's a bit similar to the Black X story in the earlier Smash Comics issue and my gripe is the exact same here as with this one: it's just simply fearmongering to think if you don't want to participate in the day to day bullshit of the war you are a bad guy and fearmongering you into thinking random Nazis will hurt you if you want out of it. Also the pushy nature of the kids aren't something to teach to other kids either.

It might just be my personal opinion but I just feels sick of these stories. Wrong messages all around.

Sad that I feel this way as with the other Newsboy stories the quality and enjoyment was there, however the core of it bugged me too much.

What's going on with the cover? Kids who put out their own newspaper with one member known for big words aren't going to be writing letters backwards like they're 4 years old

Likeable characters and an interesting set up. One of my favourite golden age series
