Would have been ok if there wasnâ€™t a completely superfluous kidnapping plot tacked on.

This was a fairly enjoyable story. Though this is the first aviator in the order, it sounds like I'll be sick of them soon.

When you think of Flying Fox for DC you are probably thinking of someone else. This character here in the Golden Age is a very recent connection (at the time of writing this comment). He was mentioned in the timeline section of New History of the DC Universe (2025) #1!

I'm not the fondest of aviation strips. Few catches my attention and despite the cool concept, it's too easy for them to get into formula. However I did enjoy this story. The flying airport was very interesting! Also a kid sidekick before the kid sidekick boom begins with the first appearance of Robin!
